54th Annual Grammy Awards

Adele dominated the show at 54th Annual Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles by winning awards in all the six categories she was nominated for, including Song, Album and Record of the Year.  There were 78 categories in total and many others won the awards besides the British singer. Best new singer award was won by Bon Iver while Best Pop Duo/Group Performance was given to Tony Bennett and the late singer, Amy Winehouse.

Foo Fighters racked all the awards for Rock album, Rock performance, Hard rock/metal performance and Rock song. Country sweetheart Taylor Swift won the awards for Country Song and Solo Performance while the Country Album award went to Lady Antebellum.
The night also featured performances by Lil Wayne, David Guetta and Bruno Mars. Rihanna assisted Coldplay in a mash-up that included "We Found Love" and their collaboration "Princess of China." Maroon 5, Foster the People and Beach Boy united and rocked the Grammy stage. Meanwhile Nicki Minaj's over-the-top controversial performance left the audience stunned. The rapper’s jaw-dropping moment included a video skit coupled with an absolutely bizarre quasi-religious stage show, and was called ‘The Exorcism of Roman.’
